PUPPY MILLERS PLEAD GUILTY TODAY!
Great news everyone! The Sundberg's (from the huge puppy mill from January 2009) have pled guilty! The trial is over. They can NEVER own or posses animals again! They are also ordered to pay restitution; full sentencing will take place in January.
HUGE victory for the animals!!! Thanks to all of you who fostered, volunteered, donated, and in any way helped!
Thank you, from the SPOT Board of Directors.

HELP SAVE WASHINGTON PETS:
Washington Senate Bill 5651, has passed the state's senate. It is now being considered in the Washington House of Representatives, which could vote on it as soon as next week.
SB 5651 will set a cap on the number of intact, adult dogs commercial breeders may keep (50) and establish basic standards of humane care for these dogs—including minimum requirements for cage size and exercise.
The next few days are a critical period for SB 5651. It is imperative that you speak up for this bill. It's easy, just call and let your representative know that protecting dogs and preventing puppy mills is important to Washingtonians and they need to VOTE YES on SB 5651!
Please call as soon as possible.
