Managing Alley Cat Colonies (MACC) The trap, alter and re-release solution....
Saving Pets One at a Time would like to invite you to help us better the lives of feral (wild) cats. Most of these originally domesticated cats did not become wild by choice.
We invite you and/or your business to help us stop the inhumane conditions in which many wild (feral) cats live.
Read about a recent colony we have assisted.
Donate Time!
If time is easier for you to volunteer your time to this worthy cause, you can help manage the colony of cats in your neighborhood or near your place of business. The cats will be trapped, spayed or neutered and re-released in the area they originally came from by SPOT volunteers. By providing food, shelter and a fresh supply of water you can help ensure that these non-breeding animals will live comfortably for the remainder of their lives. We are currently looking for a volunteer to be the MACC Coordinator. This position consists of contacting the public regarding feral colonies, scheduling vet appointments for the spay/neuter surgeries, transportation of the cats, and public education of our program. If you have 2-5 hours per week you can help us out with this program. Email TeresaS@savingpetsoneatatime.org for more detailed information.

Donate Money! If money is easier for you to contribute you can sponsor a colony or sponsor a number of spay/neuters. No dollar amount is too small.
Open or download and print our MACC application (5k Adobe Acrobat).
A Huge Thanks!
*To the Brian Stiles Family who made a large donation which will be used to support our feral cat program! Thanks Robyn for your continued efforts!
*To the Handsell Foundation for the 2009 grant for spay/neuter assistance we used towards our feral cat program. We were able to spay/neuter hundreds of cats and save them from un-necessary euthanasia. Also a huge thanks goes to Dr. Pollock for helping us by spaying/neutering hundreds upon hundreds of cats since the beginning of our program in 2000. WAY TO GO!
