This year's picnic was held July 26th at Bayview State Park.
We had over 55 guests and 15 dogs come to enjoy the wonderful
day on the beach. The weather was beautiful, with a nice breeze
from the bay blowing through to cool us off. The pool was set up
for the pups so they didn't overheat. Plenty of food and beverages
were had by all. While a bocce ball match was being played by some,
others played with the pups, some walked along the beach, while
others just sat and visited in the shade. It was great to get together
for the purpose of a social event, for a change, and congratulate one another
for the job well-done in the successful endeavor of rescuing and
rehoming over 300 dogs and puppies from the Skagit Puppy Mill.
